Homegrown - The Blevins Family

I felt the need to share with you all about this session I had with the Blevins family. This one was extra special because I’ve known Katie and Jason (Junior) for what feels like forever, and they’ve always been like family to me.

So, there’s Katie and Junior, and then there’s Duke and their newest little bundle of joy, Maddy. We had planned to do their session at Caesar’s Creek Fossil Area. Two days before our big day, Katie sent me a text, "Can we switch things up? Maddy might drift off in the car." And just like that, we pivoted to Plan B - their home!

We ended up having their session right on their property and it was magic. Being able to photograph the Blevins family where they feel most comfortable made the whole experience feel extra personal for all of us.

We’d been talking about doing this session for what felt like forever, and let me tell you, it was worth the wait <3
